ConnLink MPO Adapter Type B Key-Up to Key-Up, no flange
The MPO–MPO fiber optic adapter without flange provides precise alignment of multi-fiber MPO/MTP connectors in high-density cabling environments. Designed for data centers, telecommunications networks, and enterprise networks, it ensures reliable connections with low insertion loss and high return loss. Thanks to its flange-less design, this adapter fits perfectly into patch panels, cassettes, and ODF systems used in structured cabling.
Two adapter variants are available: Key-Up to Key-Up (KUU) and Key-Up to Key-Down (KUD).
Key-Up to Key-Down adapters connect the first fiber of the incoming cable to the first fiber of the extended cable. The fibers are not rotated. This variant is used where the same fiber orientation must be maintained, for example in fixed-polarity connections.
In the Key-Up to Key-Up version, the first fiber of the incoming cable is connected to the twelfth fiber of the extended cable. As a result, rotation occurs across all fibers. This is the standard type used in MPO/MTP cassettes to reverse polarity between two fiber optic cables (e.g. connecting a backbone cable to a patchcord).
Adapters available at xbest.pl are offered in two configuration types: for Type A cables (straight connection - fiber 1 at the top on both sides) and for Type B cables (reversed connection - fiber 1 at the top on one side and at the bottom on the other).
