CUDY GS105 Switch 5P, 5x GE (10/100/1000 Mbps)

CUDY GS105 is a compact unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch equipped with 5 RJ45 ports supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps. It is designed for home users, small offices, and compact IP surveillance installations where fast, stable data transmission and simple deployment are essential. Thanks to Plug & Play technology, the switch is ready for operation immediately after connection, without requiring any additional software or configuration.

The switch offers a 10 Gbps switching capacity and 7.44 Mpps forwarding rate, ensuring smooth communication between connected network devices. The Store-and-Forward switching mechanism verifies each frame before forwarding it, increasing transmission reliability and reducing network errors.

The CUDY GS105 features a convenient DIP switch that allows quick selection of one of three operating modes:

Default - Standard operating mode where all ports communicate with each other.

VLAN - Ports 1-4 are isolated and communicate only with Port 5, which functions as the uplink port. This improves network security and reduces broadcast traffic.

Extend - Designed for IP surveillance and long-distance network deployments. Ports 1-4 automatically switch to 10 Mbps, enabling transmission distances of up to 250 meters, while Port 5 serves as the uplink port.

The device supports Auto-Negotiation for automatic link speed detection and Auto MDI/MDIX, eliminating the need for crossover cables. Support for IEEE 802.3x Flow Control in Full Duplex mode and Backpressure in Half Duplex mode helps minimize packet loss during heavy network traffic.

The front panel features LED indicators showing power status, port activity, and Loop Alarm detection, making troubleshooting and cable diagnostics quick and convenient.

With its compact dimensions (100 × 70 × 26 mm), silent operation, and energy-efficient design, the CUDY GS105 is an ideal networking solution for homes, offices, retail stores, service points, and IP surveillance systems.
