EDFA Vision GA5125-P is a professional EDFA (Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier) optical amplifier designed to amplify and distribute optical signals in the 1550 nm wavelength band. The device is primarily used in CATV networks, RF Overlay systems and FTTH fibre-optic infrastructure, where an adequate optical power level is required to transmit signals over longer distances.

The amplifier offers a maximum output power of 25 dBm (approximately 320 mW) and is equipped with a single output port featuring an SC/APC connector. The power adjustment function, with a range from 0 to -4 dBm, allows the signal level to be precisely adapted to the requirements of the optical installation.

A key advantage of the GA5125-P is its redundant Dual DC 48V power supply system, based on two HSPS75D power supply modules rated at 75 W each. This solution increases device reliability and reduces the risk of service interruption in the event of a failure in one of the power supply paths.

The device is housed in an enclosure designed for installation in a 19" Rack cabinet and occupies 1U of rack space, making it suitable for professional telecommunications installations and optical signal distribution systems.
