Extreme Networks 1600 W AC Power Supply Unit (Front-to-Back) is a high-performance 1600 W AC power supply module designed for carrier-class and aggregation switches, including the Extreme Networks SLX 9740 platform. It has been engineered for reliability, high energy efficiency, and support for redundant hot-swap operation.

The Front-to-Back Airflow (F) variant ensures proper airflow in server systems and rack environments where consistent front-to-back cooling is required.

The module is intended for use in high-availability environments where the following are critical:

continuous operation of network infrastructure
power supply redundancy
stable operation of core and aggregation switches

Thanks to its hot-swap design, the power supply can be replaced without interrupting device operation, increasing overall system reliability.
