Tracom FTTX MDU E48 v2 (uncut port) - is a box-type fiber optic closure/distribution frame equipped with 50 inlet/outlet ports. This type of closure is used for protecting fiber optic cable splices and branching applications. The enclosure is made of high-quality plastic resistant to UV radiation, low (-40°C) and high (+60°C) temperatures, as well as chemical substances, making it suitable for aerial, duct, and direct-buried installations. It features an IP65 protection rating. It is designed for quick and straightforward installation while offering a proven fiber management system. All metal components are made of corrosion-resistant materials. The closure features 4 splitter boxes, each capable of accommodating 9 SC Simplex / LC Duplex adapters and a 1×8 SC / 1×16 LC Steel splitter, which together with 48 customer cable outlet ports can significantly improve and speed up installation.

The v2 version of the closure features a different enclosure locking system.
