Huawei GPON ONT HG8010N-10 1x2.5GE SC/APC is a modern ONT subscriber terminal operating in bridge mode, designed for high-performance and stable GPON fiber networks. Thanks to the 2.5 Gb/s Ethernet port, the device enables delivery of internet services exceeding 1 Gb/s without the need to migrate to XG-PON or XGS-PON technologies.
The terminal is equipped with an SC/APC optical port with a Class B+ laser, ensuring stable data transmission compliant with the GPON standard. It supports wavelengths of 1310 nm (upstream) and 1490 nm (downstream), offering throughput of up to 2.5 Gb/s for downloads and 1.25 Gb/s for uploads. A receiver sensitivity of -27 dBm guarantees high connection reliability even in demanding network conditions.
The key distinguishing feature of the HG8010N-10 is its 2.5GE port (10/100/1000/2500 Mb/s with auto-negotiation), allowing operators to offer high-speed service packages without the limitations of standard Gigabit Ethernet ports. It is an ideal solution for modern FTTH networks, where bandwidth demands continue to grow.
The device operates as a transparent Layer 2 bridge terminal, without routing functionality. This makes it perfectly suited for operator environments where traffic management is handled by higher-layer devices. The HG8010N-10 supports advanced VLAN mechanisms (1:1, N:1, QinQ, transparent VLAN) as well as IPv6 transmission.
The terminal fully supports multicast transmission, offering IGMP v2/v3 and MLD v1/v2 snooping, along with Fast Leave functionality. Built-in QoS mechanisms (802.1p, SP, WRR, SP+WRR) enable precise traffic management and service prioritization. Additionally, the device provides MAC address filtering and broadcast control.
The HG8010N-10 can be managed via OMCI as well as an intuitive Web UI. It supports Smart O&M features such as rogue ONT detection, PPPoE/DHCP testing, and advanced optical link diagnostics. It also allows configuration backup and network status monitoring.
The device features compact dimensions (26 × 88 × 88 mm) and low power consumption (max. 5 W), enabling easy installation in various environments. Its solid construction and wide operating temperature and humidity range ensure reliable performance.
