Huawei ONT XGS-PON EN8255X6s-8X (1x10GE, 4xGE, 2xPOTS, AX6000, 1xUSB) (SC/APC)

Huawei OptiXstar EN8255X6s-8X is a modern ONT customer terminal designed for XGS-PON networks. The device offers advanced functions and a wide range of capabilities, providing high-speed and reliable Internet access, ideal for both home users and small businesses.

The device is equipped with a 10G Ethernet port, which makes maximum use of the capabilities of the PON standard and supports speed negotiation (100 / 1000 / 2500 / 5000 / 10000 Mb/s). Additionally, it features four Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s) and two POTS telephone ports (RJ11). The terminal supports wireless networking in accordance with the WiFi 6 standard, supporting IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band.

Using 4x4 MIMO technology, the terminal achieves a maximum theoretical throughput of up to 1147 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz band and up to 4804 Mb/s in the 5 GHz band. This is twice as much as standard WiFi 6 solutions, providing an efficient wireless network even with many connected users.

The device uses the XGS-PON standard for the WAN port with an SC/APC connector. This technology enables symmetrical data transmission at speeds of up to 10 Gb/s in both directions, significantly exceeding previous standards (XG-PON / GPON). Thanks to support for a 1x256 split, the terminal can connect twice as many subscribers as GPON, offering greater system flexibility.
