Huawei OptiXstar K572 (2x2.5GE, 2xGE, Wi-Fi 7 Mesh)

Huawei OptiXstar K572 is a Wi-Fi 7 wireless router supporting IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax/be standards in the 2.4 GHz band and a/n/ac/ax/be in the 5 GHz band. Its theoretical throughput is 688 Mb/s at 2.4 GHz and 2882 Mb/s at 5 GHz (both in a 2x2 MIMO configuration). A key advantage is the presence of two 2.5 GigabitEthernet ports (10/100/1000/2500 Mb/s), one of which functions as WAN and the other as LAN, enabling the provision of connections with speeds of up to 2.5 Gb/s. Additionally, the router is equipped with two Gigabit LAN ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s).

Huawei OptiXstar K572 supports Mesh technology, enabling the creation of a unified wireless network without the need to use Ethernet cables. The devices connect automatically, and pairing is performed with a single button. The router supports Wi-Fi synchronization, channel optimization and roaming (IEEE 802.11k/v). Ideal for large houses and apartments, it can work with an ONT terminal for better coverage.

Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) introduces a number of improvements over previous generations, providing faster, more stable and efficient connections.
- 320 MHz band - doubled channel width compared to Wi-Fi 6, increasing throughput.
- Multi-Link Operation (MLO) - simultaneous use of multiple bands (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, 6 GHz) for a more stable connection and lower latency.
- 4K-QAM - more efficient signal coding, increasing data transmission speed by approx. 20% compared to Wi-Fi 6.
- Smoother operation in congested networks - better support for multiple devices thanks to enhanced MU-MIMO and OFDMA.
