The Moxa TCF-142-M-SC converter is a device that allows the maximum transmission distance for serial communication to be extended up to 5 km over multimode fiber optic cable. This makes it an excellent choice for extensive industrial systems that require reliable data transmission over long distances. It supports ring and Point-to-Point topologies, providing flexibility in network configuration.

The converter operates completely transparently to the software, allowing it to be seamlessly integrated with existing systems without the need to make changes to applications. It provides a transmission speed of up to 921.6 kbps on the serial interface, enabling efficient data exchange.

Thanks to its wide power supply range from 12 to 48 VDC, the device can be easily powered in various industrial environments, while ensuring stable operation and reliability.

The TCF-142-X-YY series of converters features an enclosure and the possibility of wall or DIN rail mounting. There is also a twin series of devices called TCF-142-X-YY-RM, which is designed for installation in a modular system for rack cabinets.
