Fibre optic splice closure Tracom FTTX MDU B16 v3 (uncut port) WHITE

Tracom FTTX MDU B series are compact box-type fiber optic splice closures designed for the protection and organization of fiber optic splices as well as connections and branching applications in FTTx networks. Depending on the variant, they can also function as a splice closure/distribution box, allowing the installation of fiber optic adapters.

The B08 and B16 series closures have been designed for easy installation and efficient fiber management. Their housings are made of high-quality plastic resistant to UV radiation, chemicals and temperatures from -40°C to +60°C. The IP65 protection rating provides protection against dust ingress and water jets. This allows the closures to be used in aerial, duct and underground installations.

Depending on the version, the closure can be equipped with 2 PG cable glands, an oval port or a modular uncut port. Individual variants also differ in housing dimensions, the number and type of ports, splice capacity and the availability of adapter brackets. The closures feature mechanical port sealing, while the metal structural components are made of corrosion-resistant materials.

The V3 versions are additionally equipped with an improved cable fastening bracket, making it easier to properly route and secure the cable inside the closure.
