Tracom FTTX MDU C fiber optic splice closures are compact box-type splice closures with distribution functionality, designed to protect fiber optic splices, organize fibers, and provide connections and branching applications in FTTx networks. They are suitable for aerial, duct, and underground telecommunications installations, ensuring orderly fiber routing and convenient access during installation and maintenance work.

The housing is made of high-quality plastic resistant to UV radiation, chemical substances, and temperatures ranging from -40°C to +60°C. The IP65 protection rating safeguards the interior against dust ingress and water jets. Metal structural components are made of corrosion-resistant materials.

The product range includes variants with capacities suited to different installation requirements, including C12 and C16 models. Depending on the version, the closure may be equipped with 2xPG cable ports or a modular uncut port, as well as a patch panel. The design allows for the installation of optical splitters and fiber optic adapters, facilitating connection management and signal distribution.

V3 versions feature an improved cable fastening bracket design.
