Fiber optic box-type closure equipped with 2 + 17 inlet/outlet ports. This type of closure is used to protect fiber optic cable splices and branching applications.
The housing is made of high-quality plastic resistant to UV radiation, low (-40°C) and high (+60°C) temperatures, and chemical substances, making the closure suitable for aerial, duct, and underground installations.
It has an IP65 protection rating.
The MDU G17 is designed for simple and efficient installation while providing a proven fiber management system. All metal components of the closure are made of corrosion-resistant materials.
The closure is equipped with 4 splice trays with 12 splice capacity each and space for installing a STEEL optical splitter under the trays, which combined with the 16 adapters included in the set can significantly improve and shorten installation time. Each tray allows installation of a STEEL optical splitter.
Adapters installed in the customer ports, from the outside of the closure for Huawei Mini SC connectors and from the inside for SC SIMPLEX connectors.
