Tracom FTTX ODU BIG 8IN-96S v2 GREY - is a box-type fibre optic splice closure equipped with 2 PG type inlet/outlet ports and 6 further optional ports (blanked). This type of splice closure is used to protect fibre optic cable strands and branching applications. The casing is made of high quality plastic material resistant to UV radiation, low (-40°C) and high (+60°C) temperatures, as well as chemicals, which makes it suitable for aerial, duct and underground installations. It has IP65 protection rating. It is designed to be uncomplicated to install. At the same time, it offers a proven fibre management system. All metal parts are made of corrosion-resistant materials. It has a patch panel for 96 SC Simplex/LC Duplex adapters and is equipped with 8 trays, each with a nominal capacity of 12 splices [24 in double arrangement], which results in a capacity of up to 192 splices. V2 - version equiped with plastic and metal buckle.
