Fibre optic splice closure Tracom SC-L5-D-B-36S 072J-03xP085VX-000

Tracom series splice closures equipped with fully hermetic, thermally welded or mechanical inlet/outlet ports. This type of splice closure is used to protect fibre optic cable strands and branching applications. The case is made of high quality plastic material resistant to UV radiation, low (-40°C) and high (+60°C) temperature and chemicals which makes it suitable for aerial, duct and underground installations. It has IP68 protection. It is designed to be uncomplicated to install. The organisation of fibres  is facilitated by fibre optic trays, which can be purchased separately, so that the customer decides for himself whether he needs them at all and in what quantity. All metal parts are made of corrosion-resistant materials.

Tracom L-36S-D is based on the design of the proven and very popular Tracom L (144 6×P085) fibre optic splice closure. Unlike the original, its capacity has been halved (space for 72 splices in three Tracom P085 fibre optic splice trays), making it possible to equip the splice closure with an integrated patch panel to install up to 36 SC Simplex adapters. Using cable ports, already terminated (Ready-To-Use) cable can be inserted into the coupler and plugged directly into the adapter, significantly reducing installation time and cost. The Tracom L-36S-D splice closure has a shelf to accommodate optical splitters in both STEEL and ABS housings. Mechanical port sealing system - using the supplied rubber bands (see photo).
