Tycon series fibre optic splice closures naming scheme

Fibre optic splice closure Tycon 400 A8-T-000 096J-04xS A8-000 fully hermetic, heat sealable inlet/outlet ports. The organisation of fibres is facilitated by fibre optic trays, which can be purchased separately, so that the customer can decide for himself whether he needs them at all and in what quantity.

The splice closure is available in two versions: Standard and with Patch Panel

Equipped with fully hermetic, thermally sealed inlet/outlet ports. This type of splice closure is used to protect splices of fibre optic cables and branching applications. The casing is made of high quality plastic resistant to UV radiation, low (-40°C) and high (+60°C) temperatures, and chemicals, which makes it suitable for aerial, duct and underground installations. It has IP68 protection rating. It is designed for uncomplicated and efficient installation. All metal elements of the splice closure are made of corrosion resistant materials. Equipped with an earth conduit and a valve installed in the splice closure dome for pressure control.

The set includes:

• Bracket for fixing on the pole/wall/other object

• Heat-sealed tubes to seal cable entries

• 40mm splice protectors

• Protective tubes for fibre distribution

• Self-adhesive aluminium tape for cable protection during heating

• Sandpaper

• Earthing cables

• Cleaning wipes

Required accessories to be purchased:
