Fibre optic splice closure Tycon 450 B4-D-24S 120J-05xE M8-B21 - based on the design of the proven and popular Tycon 450 B4 (144F: Ex6) fibre optic splice closure. Its capacity has been reduced by one tray (space for 120 splices in five Tycon E fibre trays), allowing the splice closure to be fitted with a tube cage and an integrated patch panel allowing up to 24 SC Simplex adapters to be installed. Using the mechanically sealed cable ports of the splice closure, an already terminated cable (Ready-To-Use) can be plugged directly into the adapter, significantly reducing installation time and cost. Moreover, the Tycon 450 B4-D-24S splice closure has a shelf to accomodate optical splitters in a STEEL housing. The organisation of fibres is facilitated by fibre optic trays, which can be purchased separately, so that the customer can decide for himself whether he needs them at all and in what quantity.

The splice closure is available in 3 versions: Basket Standard, Basket Mechanical, Patch Panel Mechanical.

This type of splice closure is used to protect splices of fibre optic cables and branching applications. The casing is made of high quality plastic resistant to UV radiation, low (-40°C) and high (+60°C) temperatures, and chemicals, which makes it suitable for aerial, duct and underground installations. It has IP68 protection rating. It is designed for uncomplicated and efficient installation. All metal elements of the splice closure are made of corrosion resistant materials. Equipped with an earth conduit and a valve installed in the splice closure dome for pressure control.
