Tycon Dome Closure Series Naming Scheme

Tycon D16-T-000 800J-100xD-1slot M5-000 Fiber Optic Closure – equipped with fully sealed heat-shrinkable cable entry/exit ports. This type of closure is designed to protect fiber optic cable splices and branching applications. The housing is made of high-quality plastic resistant to UV radiation, low (-40°C) and high (+60°C) temperatures, as well as chemical substances, making it suitable for aerial, duct, and direct-buried installations. It features an IP68 protection rating. The closure is designed for quick and straightforward installation. Fiber organization inside the closure is facilitated by splice trays, which can be purchased separately, allowing customers to decide whether they are needed and in what quantity. All metal components are made of corrosion-resistant materials. The closure is equipped with a grounding port and a pressure testing valve installed in the dome.
