8 mm Cable Tensioner for MAX Pneumatic Piercing Machines

The 8 mm cable tensioner is designed for use with MAX series pneumatic piercing machines and is an essential component for pulling protective pipes during pneumatic boring operations. The product is primarily used in situations where, after completing a bore, the hole partially or completely collapses, preventing the installation of a pipe into the prepared channel.

In such cases, the only effective solution is to pull the pipe directly behind the pneumatic piercing machine (“mole”) during the boring process. The tensioner works with an 8 mm steel cable threaded through the pipe and ensures secure and stable fastening throughout the operation.

The component is mainly used with larger pneumatic piercing machines such as the MAX K130S, where the pipe-pulling system consists of a steel cable, tensioner, and a properly selected pipe pulling sleeve. This solution enables efficient installation of plastic pipes made of materials such as PE and PVC, even in challenging ground conditions.
