Copix Solar Cables

The newest products introduced in the xbest.pl offer are photovoltaic cables and the corresponding connectors. Copix brand solar cables are high-quality, flexible, single-core wires designed for photovoltaic installations. They are suitable for a nominal voltage of 1.0kV for AC (alternating current) and 1.5kV for DC (direct current). These cables are used for making connections between photovoltaic panels or connecting them to inverters. The estimated lifespan is a minimum of 25 years. Additionally, the cable has a fire reaction class of Eca (CPR class according to EN 50575) and complies with the EN-50618 standard.

The cable conductor consists of a multi-wire, tinned copper core of class 5 according to IEC-60228:2004. Those labeled with the symbol SC101 have a conductor cross-section of 4mm2, while those labeled SC201 have a cross-section of 6mm2.

Solar cables have an outer UV-resistant coating made of cross-linked halogen-free material using EBM technology, available in red or black. Their insulation in white/light gray is also made from the same material as the outer coating. The halogen-free coating, known as LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen, also written as LSOH), emits minimal smoke and harmful gases in the event of a fire. Thanks to the UV-resistant coating and LSZH mixture, these cables can be used in both indoor and outdoor installations.

The solar cables are wound on wooden spools of 500 meters each, allowing for direct unwinding. Upon request, customers can have any length of the cable cut.

xbest.pl also offers dedicated solar connectors labeled with the symbol MC4, along with keys designed for them. These connectors are designed for the quick and secure connection of solar panels in photovoltaic installations. The advantages of this solution include ease of use due to the self-locking design, low connector resistance (≤0.5mΩ), and IP67 protection class. The connector is sold as a complete set with two plugs and two sockets (male and female).
