Explanation of the markers printed on OPTIX cables
OPTIX AirTube S-XOTKtmdD CC206 cable is a universal (external-internal), round self-supporting cable for use in FTTX systems, reinforced with high quality aramid fibres (load bearing in aerial installation), lightweight construction with a small diameter ~ 3mm, high flexibility and resistance to dragging, UV resistant HDPE coating, completely dielectric, installation tension force: 600N, temperature range from -30 to +60 [°C].
The construction has been specially designed to provide very good fibre coverage and allow easy cable routing and attachment. The G.657A2 fibres allow reducing the bending radius (up to 7.5mm). The tube is filled with hydrophobic gel for protection against moisture and vibration. The centre of cable is protected against the ingress of water through moisture wicking fibres. The cables are desinged for aerial installations on 50m spans and in primary and secondary teletechnical sewage systems by mechanical (pulling) methods.Data sheet:
