OPTIX cable FRP Z-XOTKtcd UC501 24x9/125 ITU-T G.652D 1.2kN (SPAN 35m)

OPTIX FRP Z-XOTKtcd cable: a light single tube construction (40-50kg/km), high flexibility and dragging resistance, 6.5-7.0mm diameter, gel and water blocking construction (WB), HDPE coating, UV resistance, temperature range -40°C – 70°C, reinforced with 2 FRP rods (ø0.9mm), completely dielectric – equivalent to Z-XOTKtcd. Maximum installation tension: 1200N.

All fibres are color coded according to the eia/tia-598 coding standard. The tube contains up to 24 fibres and is filled with hydrophobic gel to protect the fibres from moisture and vibration. The cable centre is protected against water penetration by swelling fibres. For additional construction durability two FRP rods were embedded in the outer HDPE layer. Two threads embedded in the jacket make it easy to remove the outer cable sheath (ripcords). The cables are designed for installation in primary and secondary telecommunication sewage system using pneumatic (blowing) and mechanical (pulling) methods, as well as for aerial installations on spans of up to 35m.
