OPTIX LSZH ZW-NOTKtsd: a light multi-tube construction, high flexibility and dragging resistance, central strengthening element (FRP rod), water blocking gel and construction (WB), moisture-absorbing fibres (WSY) and damp-proof tape, fully dielectric, black LSZH coating – UV resistance, temperature range from -40…+70 [°C] – ZW-NOTKtsd equivalent. Maximum installation tension: 1200N.

All fibres are color coded according to eia/tia-598 coding standard. Each tube containing up to 12 (24 for 288J) fibres is filled with hydrophobic gel to protect the fibres from moisture and vibrations. The cable centre is protected against water penetration with moisture absorbing fibres or damp-proof tape. The cable tubes and filling elements are twisted around a central strengthening component - the FRP rod. Two threads embedded in the jacket make it easy to remove the outer cable sheath (ripcords). The use of a non-flammable, halogen-free outer sheath ensures that the cables are resistant to flame propagation. The cables can be used both indoor and outdoor. Intended for installation in enclosed spaces, road and railway tunnels, and in primary and secondary telecommunications sewage systems using pneumatic (blowing) and mechanical (pulling) methods.
