Explanation of the markers printed on OPTIX cables
OPTIX cable Micro Z-VOTKtmd MC302: a family of microchannel cables for microtubes with an internal diameter of 8mm (for 12-92 fibres), 10mm (for 144 fibres) and 12mm (for 192-288 fibres). Leightweight construction with small diameter, reinforced with fibreglass rod, orange coat PA-12 (0.5mm), tension force: 650-1000N, temperature range: -20…+70 [°C] - equivalent: Micro Z-XOTKtmd.
All fibres and tubes of the cable are color coded according to the eia/tia-598 coding standard. Each tube is filled with hydrophobic gel to protect the fibres from moisture and vibration. The cables are designed for installation in primary and secondary teletechnical sewage systems using pneumatic methods (blowing).
