Explanation of the markers printed on OPTIX cables

OPTIX Micro ZW-NOTKtmd MC401: a family of microchannel cables for microtubes with an internal diameter of 8mm (for 12-72 fibres), 10mm (for 96 fibres) and 12mm (for 144  fibres). Lightweight construction with small diameter, reinforced with fibreglass rod, LSZH coat (0.8mm), tension force: 750-1000N, temperature range: -20…+70 [°C] - equivalent: Micro ZW-NOTKtmd.

All fibres and tubes of the cable are color coded according to the eia/tia-598 coding standard. Each tube is filled with hydrophobic gel to protect the fibres from moisture and vibration. The cables are designed for installation in primary and secondary teletechnical sewage systems using pneumatic methods (blowing).
