OPTIX cable S-XOTKts 72x9/125 6T12F ITU-T G.652D 6.0kN (SPAN 100m)

Optix S-XOTKts octal cable with self-supporting structure, the supporting element is made of galvanized steel wires 7х1.0mm, intended for hanging on a span up to 100m (SAG 2-3%), lightweight multi-tube construction, gel and water blocking structure (WB), damp-proof tape, ripcord, glass fibres, resistance to UV radiation, the jacket is made of high density PE, temperature range from -40...+70 [°C], equivalent: S-XOTKts, tension strength: 6000N. 

All fibres and tubes of the cable are color coded according to the coding standard. Tube containing up to 12 optical fibres is filled with hydrophobic gel to protect fibres from moisture and vibration. The centre of the cable is protected agains water penetration by a damp-proof tape. The tubes of the cable and filling elements are twisted around the central strengthening element - FRP rod Ø2.2-3.0 mm.

The thread embedded into the sheath is used to facilitate removal of the cable's outer sheath (ripcord). The cables are designed for aerial installation.
