Explanation of the markers printed on OPTIX cables
OPTIX Vertical W-NOTKSd 1.0kN, 6-48J - an easy access cable designed for vertical structural cabling installation in multi-apartment and office buildings. The special construction allows very easy access to the fibres through the so-called window cutting in the sheath with the possibility of pulling out the optical fibres in the 0.9mm sheath for distances up to 25m.
The cables are available in the construction from 6 to 48 fibres. All cable fibres are color coded according to the EIA/TIA598 coding standard. The used G.657A2 fibres additionally allow to reduce the bending radius (up to 7.5mm). The fibres are covered with an easy strip or semi tight sheath.
