OPTIX ZW-(NV)OTKtsd: lightweight multi-tube construction, high flexibility and dragging resistance, central strengthening element (FRP rod), gel and water blocking structure (WB), moisture absorbing fibres (WSY) and damp-proof tape, fully dielectric, double sheath: black LSZH - UV resistance and NYLON (PA) - rodent protection, temperature range from -40…+70 [°C] - equivalent: ZW-(NV)OTKtsd. Maximum tension strength: 1200N.

All fibres and tubes of the cable are color coded according to the eia/tia-598 coding standard. Each tube containing up to 12 optical fibres is filled with hydrophobic gel to protect the fibres against moisture and vibrations. The cable centre is protected against water penetration with moisture absorbing fibres and damp-proof tape. The cable tubes and filling elements are twisted around a central strengthening element - the FRP rod. Two threads embedded into the sheath (ripcords) are used to facilitate removal of the cable's outer sheath. The use of non-flammable halogen-free outer sheath ensures that the cables are resistant to the propagation of flame. The inner layer of the sheath made of Nylon (PA) constitutes an anti-rodent barrier. The cables may be used both indoors and outdoors or in building structures. Intended for installation in closed spaces, road and railway tunnels, as well as in primary and secondary telecommunication ducts using pneumatic (blowing) and mechanical (pulling) methods.
