OTDR Launch Cable BOX is a fibre optic launch cable designed for reflectometric measurements using an Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR). It enables accurate assessment of the parameters of the tested fibre optic link, including attenuation and the quality of connections at the beginning and end of the measured section. It helps reduce the impact of OTDR dead zones on measurement results, facilitating the detection and analysis of events occurring in the network.

The launch cable consists of optical fibre housed in a protective plastic box. The ARM-Fan version features reinforced fibre leads terminated with fibre optic connectors. Available variants include single-mode SM G.652D and multimode MM OM3 and MM OM4 fibres, as well as various lengths and connector configurations.

The compact design makes the launch cable easy to transport, store and use during installation, maintenance and diagnostic work on fibre optic networks.
