OTDR Launch Cable BOX mini is a compact launch cable box designed for reflectometric measurements using an optical time-domain reflectometer (OTDR). The launch fibre enables the evaluation of the first connector of the fibre-optic link under test and allows more accurate analysis of parameters and events occurring at the beginning of the measured section.

The device uses single-mode SM G.652D optical fibre with a core and cladding diameter of 9/125 µm, housed in a 3.0 mm outer jacket. The cable is terminated with optical connectors. The entire assembly is enclosed in a compact plastic housing that facilitates transport, storage and use during installation and measurement work.

The OTDR Launch Cable BOX mini is suitable for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of fibre-optic networks.
