The Tycon FHS heat-shrinkable finger (Fingers Heat Shrinkable Tube) is a specialized fitting filled with a layer of hot-melt adhesive, primarily used to seal and insulate cable exit points from a mechanical sheath – either plastic or metal protective tubing. When heated, the finger shrinks, and the internal hot-melt adhesive layer melts, creating a tight, hermetic seal that protects against the ingress of elements such as water, dust, or other contaminants.
