Planet IP30 Ind 8-P is an industrial, unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch equipped with 8 × 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 ports with PoE+ support and 2 × 100/1000 Mbps SFP slots. The device enables simultaneous data transmission and power supply to network devices compliant with the IEEE 802.3at PoE+ standard, such as IP cameras, access points and VoIP phones.

The switch supports IEEE 802.3af/at standards, and each of the 8 RJ45 ports can deliver up to 30 W of PoE power. The maximum PoE budget is 240 W with a 54 V DC power supply. Thanks to the two SFP slots, the device also supports fibre-optic connections using 100/1000BASE-X modules.

The IGS-1020PTF-12V model features a DIP switch for selecting Standard/Extend mode. In Extend mode, ports 5–8 can provide PoE transmission over distances of up to 250 m at 10 Mbps, allowing the connection range to selected end devices to be extended.

The device offers 20 Gbps switching capacity, 14.8 Mpps forwarding rate, an 8000-entry MAC address table, and support for Jumbo Frames up to 9000 bytes. It operates in Store-and-Forward mode and supports automatic speed negotiation and Auto MDI/MDI-X.

The IP30-rated industrial aluminium housing and operating temperature range of -40°C to +75°C allow the switch to be used in demanding environmental conditions. The device can be DIN rail or wall mounted. The model also features ESD protection up to 6 kV and two DC power inputs enabling redundant power supply.
