Modular fibre optic enclosure Tracom VERTICAL DIN - Chassis 3U 19" is designed for installation in a 19-inch floor-standing or wall-mounted telecommunications cabinet and is used for organizing fiber optic cables with pigtails. It allows termination from 72 up to 288 optical fibers using fiber optic adapters—depending on the type of cassettes used and adapter configuration—and also supports organization of up to 144 fibers in fiber optic module cassettes.

It is a universal solution for fiber distribution in telecommunications equipment installations and server rooms. Fiber management is enabled through separately purchased DIN-type snap-in fiber optic cassettes. Each cassette consists of two levels and is equipped with a splice tray for 12 splices (with dual arrangement of splice protection sleeves), as well as holders, guides, and clips that facilitate the organization of fiber optic pigtails and protective tubes.

The patch panel is solidly constructed from cold-rolled steel and powder-coated in white. The frame itself has a height of 2U; with installed cassettes, the total height becomes 3U (cassette height).
