DDM - Digital Diagnostic Monitor (compatible with Cisco DOM – Digital Optical Monitoring). This function allows monitoring of key module parameters such as transmitted optical signal power, received optical signal power, operating temperature, supply voltage, and laser current.
Using DDM helps prevent failures and speeds up troubleshooting of optical network issues. Monitoring operating parameters is only possible with devices that have an implemented digital diagnostics reading function.
