QSFP28 OPTEC 100G Converter to SFP28 25G for Mellanox

OPTEC QSFP28 100G to SFP28 25G Converter is a practical adapter that enables the connection of 25G SFP28 transceivers and cables to 100G QSFP28 ports in networking devices such as Mellanox switches and network interface cards. It provides a flexible and cost-effective way to expand network infrastructure and deploy 25GbE connectivity without the need for full 100GbE transceivers.

The adapter is designed in accordance with SFF-8665 (QSFP28) and SFF-8402 (SFP28) standards, ensuring full compatibility with a wide range of optical transceivers, DAC cables, and AOC cables from various manufacturers. Its Plug & Play design requires no configuration, allowing immediate operation after installation.

The converter features very low power consumption (maximum 1 W without an installed module), high reliability, and an extended operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for both data centers and demanding industrial environments.

The adapter uses the first transmission lane of the QSFP28 port to communicate with the SFP28 module, ensuring excellent signal integrity and minimal transmission loss.
