Ratcheting cable slitter Jonard RCS-30

The Jonard RCS-30 cable slitter is a professional tool designed for making precise cuts in cable jackets and large-diameter ducts. It was developed for telecommunications and power network installers as well as technicians working with heavy-duty cables and protective conduits. The ratcheting mechanism significantly simplifies operation, allowing a firm grip and controlled cutting of cables and ducts with diameters greater than 25 mm.

The tool enables both longitudinal cuts (slitting) and ring cuts (ringing), as well as creating mid-span window cuts in the middle of a cable or duct. This feature is particularly useful during maintenance and installation work when access to the cable interior is required without cutting the entire cable.

A specially designed blade allows effective cutting through duct walls up to 5 mm thick, while the adjustable cutting depth from 0-5 mm allows the tool to be adapted to different cable jacket types. The slitter works perfectly with materials such as PVC, PE, rubber, and other common cable jacket materials.

The replaceable double-ended blade extends the tool’s service life, while the built-in 10 mm, 20 mm, and 30 mm ruler allows quick and precise slitting to a defined length.
