Thanks to Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology, they operate on a precisely defined optical channel in the C-band, enabling parallel transmission of multiple signals over a single fiber.

The SFP+ DWDM 10G, SM LC 14 dB 40 km EML/PIN 1528.77–1563.86 nm (ch: 17–61) DDM module operates in the wavelength range of 1528.77–1563.86 nm (ITU-T channels 17–61). This allows selection of a specific channel from the DWDM grid, enabling the construction of very high-capacity transmission systems using MUX/DEMUX multiplexers.
