DDM - Digital Diagnostic Monitor (compatible with Cisco DOM - Digital Optical Monitoring). This function enables monitoring of key module operating parameters such as transmitted optical signal power, received optical signal power, operating temperature, supply voltage, and laser current.
Using DDM helps prevent failures and speeds up the diagnosis of problems with the optical network. Monitoring of operating parameters is only possible with devices that support digital diagnostics readout.
