Transceivery SFP28 25G – Fibre modules with SFP+ dimensions but with electronical components adjusted for 25 Gb/s tranmission. Thanks to that soultion there is no need to change the passive components. Moreover, SFP28 transceivers are backwards compatible with SFP+ ports; they can be used in SFP+ ports. However, their data rate will be accordingly reduced. It works both ways. 25G switches equipped with SFP28/SFP+ ports will suport SFP+ transceivers after changing data rate settings.

DDM - Digital Diagnostic Monitor (compatible with Cisco DOM – Digital Optical Monitoring).This feature allows you to track key parameters of the module such as the power of the optical signal transmission, the optical power of the received signal, operating temperature, supply voltage, current of the laser.
