SIXPON OLT S8600 4U Set with 8×GPON (SFP B+/C+/C++) is an advanced optical OLT terminal designed for building modern FTTH networks with high performance and scalability. The device belongs to the S8600 series, developed as a high-density access switching platform that integrates multiple services and meets the requirements of modern broadband operator networks.

The platform was created to help operators build networks with higher bandwidth, faster speeds, and smarter connectivity, enabling the delivery of increasingly demanding digital services. The device aggregates traffic from ONT terminals, MDU units, and campus switches, simplifying network architecture while reducing operational and maintenance costs.

OLT devices of this class are among the first in the industry to feature a distributed processing architecture, developed using virtual access technology, which provides a unified platform for carrying multiple services. This enables the simultaneous delivery of services such as broadband Internet, video transmission, monitoring, and wireless services, while maintaining high performance and stability.

The device features a compact 4U chassis and a modular architecture with half-size service cards, enabling high port density for EPON/GPON/10GE/10G EPON. In the presented configuration, the set includes 8 GPON ports with SFP B+/C+/C++ modules, ensuring stable optical connections in a point-to-multipoint architecture.

With a switching capacity of 248 Gbit/s and maximum throughput of up to 40 Gbit/s per slot, the platform provides high performance and the ability to handle intensive network traffic. The device can simultaneously support up to 2000 users streaming 4K video, making it an ideal solution for modern FTTH networks and multimedia services.

The OLT also ensures high reliability thanks to power redundancy mechanisms, hot-plug modules, an intelligent cooling system, and advanced security, routing, and management functions.
