Wall mount optical distribution cabinet Tracom CX ODF RDD-FTTH 96J 530/310/200 + reserve cable module
The Tracom CX ODF RDD-FTTH 96F fiber optic box is a professional distribution patch panel designed for the construction and organization of FTTH networks in multi-storey buildings. The device is intended for wall-mounted installation, most commonly on the lowest floor of a building, where feeder cables from the aggregation point and vertical riser cables distributing the signal to apartments are terminated.
The distribution box features two clearly separated working zones - line and subscriber, divided by a patching field. This design ensures clear organization of the fiber infrastructure and convenient service access. The patch panel allows the installation of up to 48 SC Duplex adapters or 72 SC Simplex adapters, and also supports other popular standards such as LC Quad.
The line section provides space for organizing feeder cable slack, performing fiber splicing, and installing optical splitters. The dedicated splitter mounting panel is removable and magnet-stabilized, which simplifies installation and maintenance. The subscriber section provides space for up to 4 splice trays with a capacity of 24 fibers each, enabling support for up to 96 optical fibers.
The unit is additionally equipped with a cable storage module with a depth of 57 mm, designed for storing spare lengths of feeder and subscriber cables. The module creates two separate cable storage zones and is connected to the main enclosure by a hinge, while its stability is ensured by two M6 mounting screws. The module includes knock-out cable entries with diameters of 38 mm or 29 mm – four on the top and bottom walls and two on the side wall – allowing convenient cable routing.
The enclosure is made of 1 mm steel sheet with a Magnelis® coating, providing very high corrosion resistance. Magnelis® technology is one of the few metallic coatings certified for use in C5 corrosive environments, ensuring long service life even in demanding installation conditions. The housing is additionally powder-coated in RAL 7035 light grey, providing an extra protective layer.
The box is equipped with double doors secured with two four-point locks, ensuring protection of the fiber optic infrastructure.
