SC8108 LCD Cable Tester – a professional yet intuitive and efficient device for testing Ethernet cabling and coaxial cables. Compatible with various types of twisted-pair and coaxial cables. It allows verification of connection accuracy and compliance with key standards such as T568A, T568B, 10Base-T, and Token Ring. Test results are displayed on a large LCD screen with 4 lines and 16 characters.

The tester consists of two components: a transmitter and a receiver (terminator), ensuring convenient operation. The receiver (terminator), attached at the end of the tested cabling system, is essential for determining the wiring scheme of the tested installation segment. Before using the device, it must be carefully calibrated using a cable at least 5 meters long to achieve measurement accuracy of approximately 3%. It is important to note that testing must not be carried out on active or live networks, as this may damage the device.
