Fibre optic attenuator SC/APC(F) - SC/APC(M) 0 dB adapter type, 1240-1625 nm

A 0 dB fiber optic attenuator serves a protective function by preventing excessive wear of the reflectometer’s connector. It is enough to connect it permanently to the device’s test port, and once it becomes worn after several thousand connection and disconnection cycles of the launch fiber, it can be replaced with a new one. This way, the ferrule in the reflectometer connector is not exposed to damage.
The model is equipped with a male SC/APC (M) connector for connecting to the reflectometer and a female SC/APC (F) socket for attaching the launch cable.
