The TP-Link Omada SG3218XP-M2 16×2.5G 2×SFP+ Switch is a modern networking solution designed for high-performance and scalable networks based on WiFi 7/WiFi 6E/WiFi 6 standards. The device is equipped with 16 × 2.5 Gbps ports and 2 × 10 Gbps SFP+ uplink ports, ensuring high bandwidth and reliable data transmission.
The switch features 8 × 2.5G PoE+ ports and 8 × 2.5G non-PoE ports, allowing full utilization of modern WiFi access points and other network devices. With a PoE power budget of 240 W, it can supply power to IEEE 802.3af/at–compliant devices such as access points, IP cameras, and VoIP phones.
The two 10G SFP+ ports provide ultra-fast, high-bandwidth uplink connections and non-blocking network performance, making the switch ideal for data-intensive environments.
Fully integrated with the Omada SDN platform, the switch offers features such as Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP), centralized cloud management, and intelligent network monitoring. Management is available via a web interface as well as the Omada mobile app, ensuring maximum administrative convenience.
With support for static routing, the switch enables efficient internal traffic management and optimized use of network resources. Advanced security features - including IP-MAC-Port Binding, Access Control Lists (ACLs), port security, DoS attack protection, storm control, DHCP Snooping, 802.1X, and RADIUS authentication - ensure a high level of network protection.
The device also supports advanced QoS mechanisms (L2/L3/L4) and IGMP Snooping, optimizing voice and video applications while ensuring stable and smooth multimedia transmission.
