TP-Link TL-SG1016PE 16x10/100/1000 (8xPoE+) is a 16-port switch designed for desktop or rack installation, equipped with 8 PoE+ ports that enable simultaneous data and power transmission over a single Ethernet cable. With a total PoE power budget of 150 W (up to 30 W per port), it can supply power to demanding devices such as wireless access points, IP cameras, and VoIP phones. Energy-saving technologies help reduce overall power consumption.
The PoE+ ports automatically detect devices compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at standards and deliver the appropriate amount of power, making network expansion easier in locations without additional power outlets.
The switch features a port priority mechanism that protects the system against overload. When the available PoE power budget is exceeded, power is cut off from the lowest-priority port to ensure uninterrupted operation of the remaining devices.
TL-SG1016PE requires no complex configuration and operates in plug and play mode. Its solid construction, rack-mount capability, and high performance make it a practical solution for home and small office environments.
