Ubiquiti U7-Outdoor UniFi Access Point

Ubiquiti U7-Outdoor UniFi Access Point is an outdoor WiFi 7 access point designed to build high-performance wireless networks in open spaces. The device is equipped with 4 spatial streams, dual-band transmission in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, and a 2.5 GbE port providing a high-speed wired network connection. The U7-Outdoor can support more than 250 clients and offers coverage of up to 465 m² in open space.

The U7-Outdoor features an integrated directional antenna and two included omnidirectional antennas. The directional antenna can provide a controlled coverage area, while the external antennas enable more uniform coverage. In the 5 GHz band, the directional antenna provides a gain of 12.5 dBi, while in the 2.4 GHz band it provides 8 dBi.

The access point supports WiFi 7 (802.11be) and offers a maximum throughput of up to 4.3 Gb/s in the 5 GHz band and up to 688 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz band. It also supports legacy WiFi 6, WiFi 5 and 802.11n standards, allowing it to work with a wide range of client devices.

The device is designed for outdoor operation. Its enclosure provides IPX6 protection, while the operating temperature range is from -30°C to 60°C. The U7-Outdoor can be mounted on a wall or pole, and the included mounting brackets facilitate installation in various locations. The design is also adapted for operation in strong winds.

The U7-Outdoor is powered via PoE+ and has a maximum power consumption of 19 W. The device integrates with the UniFi Network ecosystem, offering features such as wireless mesh, band steering, 802.11r fast roaming, radio resource management, and support for guest networks and a captive portal.
