Ubiquiti U7-PRO UniFi Access Point

Ubiquiti U7-PRO UniFi Access Point is a Wi-Fi 7 access point designed to build fast and scalable wireless networks in homes, offices, businesses, and facilities requiring support for a large number of devices. The device operates in three bands: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz, offering a combined wireless throughput of up to 9.3 Gb/s according to the UI Poland store specifications.

The U7-PRO uses the Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) standard and 6 spatial streams, providing 2×2 MU-MIMO configuration in each of the three bands. In the 6 GHz band, the maximum transmission speed is 5.8 Gb/s with a 320 MHz channel width, while in the 5 GHz band it reaches 4.3 Gb/s with a 240 MHz channel. The 2.4 GHz band offers transmission speeds of up to 688 Mb/s.

The access point is equipped with a 1/2.5 GbE RJ45 port, providing a high-speed wired network connection. Power is supplied via PoE+, with a maximum power consumption of 21 W. The U7-PRO can support more than 300 clients simultaneously, while the declared coverage area is approximately 140 m².

The device works with the UniFi Network platform, providing features that facilitate network management, such as band steering, 802.11r fast roaming, 802.11k radio resource management, 802.11v BSS Transition Management, wireless meshing, client isolation, and guest network support. Additional features include captive portal, Passpoint, RADIUS, dynamic VLAN assignment, and Wi-Fi bandwidth limitation.

The compact housing, measuring 206 mm in diameter and 46 mm in height, allows ceiling or wall mounting. A Pro Mount bracket is included. The U7-PRO is designed to operate at temperatures from -30 to 40°C.
