RJ45 connector, shielded

The shielded RJ45 plug is a basic connector used for terminating twisted-pair network cables in Ethernet installations, equipped with an additional metal shield that protects against electromagnetic interference (EMI). Thanks to the shielding, it ensures more stable data transmission, especially in environments exposed to interference, such as industrial installations or areas with a high density of power cables.

The RJ45 connector is designed to work with shielded cables (FTP/STP), ensuring shielding continuity throughout the entire installation. The metal housing effectively dissipates interference, improving signal quality and connection reliability.

The plug features a flexible latch that prevents accidental disconnection, as well as contacts with sharp prongs that pierce the conductor insulation, ensuring a durable and secure connection. Contacts made of gold-plated phosphor bronze increase resistance to oxidation and provide high transmission quality.

The product is intended for installation by crimping using a standard RJ45 crimping tool.
