Telecommunication underground cable chamber ZZ-PE-1W
ZZ-PE cable telecommunication chambers are modern solutions designed for the protection and organization of fiber optic infrastructure in telecommunications networks. They are mainly used in installations carried out in cable duct systems, where they serve to secure excess fiber optic cables and splice closures, while enabling convenient service access and network expansion.
The chambers are made of high-quality polyethylene, making them a durable and lightweight alternative to traditional concrete structures. This material ensures high mechanical strength, tightness, and resistance to moisture, low temperatures, and chemical agents. Each chamber consists of a solid body, a polyethylene cover, and a seal that guarantees effective protection of the interior against external factors.
Thanks to their well-thought-out design, the chambers allow safe storage of fiber optic cable slack, splicing operations, and installation of splice closures. Specially designed flat inlets in the corners allow the insertion of cable ducts with standard diameters of Ø32 mm, Ø40 mm, and Ø50 mm, as well as other non-standard sizes. Installation can be carried out using rubber seals, heat-shrink half-couplings, connectors, or threaded elements, some of which can be installed directly on-site.
Types of ZZ-PE chambers:
-
ZZ-PE-0 - designed for storing fiber optic cable slack
-
ZZ-PE-1/ZZ-PE-1W - single-joint chambers for one splice closure and cable slack (version “W” with enlarged splice chamber)
-
ZZ-PE-2/ZZ-PE-2W - double-joint chambers for two splice closures and cable slack (version “W” with enlarged splice chambers).
