Universal telecommunication storage enclosure type B2, no foot no locks

Universal telecommunications storage enclosures type A2 and B2 are practical elements of network infrastructure designed to protect and organize fiber optic installations. They are mainly used in telecommunications networks built using microduct technology, where they serve as access points enabling safe storage of fiber optic cable reserves and the installation of small splice closures. Thanks to their compact design, they are suitable for locations with limited space, such as cable chambers, underground installations, basements, and other technical infrastructure areas.

The enclosures are made of durable polyethylene, which is a modern alternative to traditional concrete solutions. This material provides high mechanical strength, durability, and resistance to moisture, low temperatures, and chemicals. The structure consists of a solid body, a polyethylene cover (also used in ZZ-PE type enclosures), and a sealing gasket under the cover, ensuring high tightness and effective protection of the installation inside.

The enclosures allow safe storage of fiber optic cable reserves, creation of cable branching points, and cable routing even in locations with small bending radii. Eight flat side surfaces on the body enable convenient insertion of pipes with standard diameters of Ø32 mm and Ø40 mm. Installation can be performed using rubber seals, heat-welded half-couplings, welded nozzles, or threaded half-couplings with a nut. Some mounting elements, such as rubber seals or threaded half-couplings, can be installed directly on the construction site.

Different variants of the enclosures are available:

• Type A2 - with base, available with locks or without locks
• Type B2 - without base, also available with locks or without locks.

The A2 models replace the previous type A enclosures with base, while B2 models replace the previous type B enclosures without base, offering a more modern design and easier installation.
