ZTE OLT HFTL 16× Any-PON + 16× SFP GPON C+ is a kit designed for building and expanding modern FTTH/PON fibre-optic networks. It consists of a 16-port HFTL Any-PON line card and 16 GPON C+ SFP optical transceivers.

In the offered kit, the HFTL card is equipped with 16 Class C+ GPON SFP transceivers, operating at asymmetric data rates of 2.488 Gb/s downstream and 1.244 Gb/s upstream. The modules use WDM transmission over a single single-mode (SM) optical fibre, with a transmitter wavelength of 1490 nm and a receiver wavelength of 1310 nm. The optical power budget of 32 dB enables long-distance fibre-optic connections with high optical path attenuation, providing a transmission range of up to 20 km.

One of the key advantages of the HFTL card is its flexibility in migrating between PON technologies. The access standard can be changed by replacing the optical modules, without having to replace the card itself or rebuild the optical distribution network (ODN). This solution allows infrastructure to be gradually upgraded and adapted to increasing bandwidth requirements.

Note: The HFTL card supports various PON standards; however, the offered kit is configured for GPON operation. Switching to other standards requires the use of appropriate optical modules and compatible customer premises equipment (ONU).
